UPS Teamsters Encouraged to Vote "Yes"

(RICHMOND, Va.) UPS Teamsters are currently engaged in a crucial strike authorization vote to empower their international bargaining committee in negotiating the best possible contract. The vote, which began on Friday, is set to conclude on Thursday, June 15th.

During this period, members of Teamsters Local 322 are encouraged to participate in the vote and cast their ballots in favor of a "Yes" vote. By doing so, they will provide the bargaining committee with the necessary leverage to secure the best contract possible during the UPS National Agreement negotiations.

To facilitate the voting process, several locations have been designated for members to cast their ballots. On Monday, June 12th, the union hall will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additionally, on Tuesday, we will be at the Metro and Mechanicsville Centers for members to cast their vote. On Wednesday, we will be at the Coach Road hub as well as the P.M. Airport Shift for members to cast their vote. Lastly, on Thursday, the union hall will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and the A.M. shift at the Airport will also be included as a voting location.

Members who are unable to cast their ballots at their worksite on the specified days are encouraged to visit the union hall at 3705 Carolina Ave., Richmond, VA 23222 on Monday or Thursday to ensure their voices are heard and their votes are counted.

It is important for all Teamsters Local 322 members to actively participate in this strike authorization vote, as it will have a direct impact on the outcome of the upcoming contract negotiations. To ensure transparency and fairness, all ballots must be counted and returned to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

By actively engaging in the vote, Teamsters Local 322 members can collectively demonstrate their unity and support for the bargaining committee, ultimately working towards securing a strong and favorable contract for the betterment of all members.
